Hey Fran Hey: Shea Moisture Giveaway → heyfranhey.com

heyfranhey:

It’s been a min since we’ve done a cool giveaway :)

There will always be mixed reviews when it comes to beauty products. Not everyone’s hair or skin responds the same to certain ingredients, so getting a 100% positive response is unlikely! However, I think it’s fair to say the one product line we…

I never win anything, but maybe one of you will…

What's your input on dreads?

I like locs. It takes a certain type of person to get them though. A person (a woman, in particular) with locs has to be brave because the beginning stages of them aren’t necessarily glamorous. I wish I could get them and I may consider them in the future. Why? Are you considering getting some? = )

this layout is kinda hard to figure... could you change it to something more user friendly...

Yes… Just for you! I thought it was super cute, but it requires flash. I’ll change it ASAP, thanks for your input.

I see a lot of natural and transitioning people talking about oils such jojoba and rosemary do you know where i could find these oils in stores?

Try stores like Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. If you don’t have these stores in your area, try ordering them off Amazon.com. Hope this helps!

I'm transitioning, and my hair shedding, it could be from this winter weather, or because I haven't found that perfect balance yet. but my hair tends to be extra dry towards the middle of my hair and i also think its it thinning there too :'( any suggestion on way I could stop the shedding and thicken my hair?

Girl, is this me writing to myself? I’m having a similar problem!!! LoL. Here’s what’s helping me, but keep in mind all of our hair is different so results may vary. Chances are the texture in the middle of your hair is different than the rest of it so it requires different treatment. More moisturizing in that area is key. Also, be more gentle in that area… The middle of my head tends to hurt sometimes too.

To thicken your hair, I’d suggest taking vitamins (try biotin or nioxin ones) and make sure you’re eating right and drinking lots of water. There are also tons of oils you can use in addition. I can’t tell you why your hair is shedding, it could be because of the weather or because it’s not moisturized enough. Just decide on a regimen that works and try your best not to manipulate your hair too much. Best wishes!
